PAGASA attended the Quinta Committee Hearing on the country's rice predicament at the Lower House in the morning of 11 June 2025 at 2/F People's Center Bldg. A study by the National Irrigation Authority (NIA) claims that to break-even, NFA rice has to be sold at P29/kg.

Hearing was chaired by Ways & Means Comm. under Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda. Co-chaired by (R-L) Rep. Ferjenel Biron (Trade & Ind.), Rep. Yevgeny "Bambi" Emano (Mindanao Affairs), Rep. Rosanna "Ria" Vergara (Social Services) & Rep. Florida "Rida" Robes of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. A lot of other legislators attended this Hearing. PAGASA's STC got a chance to have photos taken with SJDM Rep. Rida Robes and Department of Agriculture Secretary Francis "Kiko" Tiu-Laurel.
