PAGASA has been represented annually at all editions of the National Retail Conference since 1998. This year was no exception. The influential speakers, both local and international, shared new retail trends and updates for two days on 29-30 August at the SMX in Pasay. The organizer, PRA, has joined forces with PAGASA to present this biggest of all local Retail Conferences year in and out. On its 40th edition, NRCE presented as speakers SM's Hans Sy and son Chicco. This year's edition broke attendance records at close to 800 delegates.

Relating to the Paris Olympics that just transpired, a Session was on learning from sports events which was moderated by Basketball and Life Coach Chot Reyes. One of the panelists was Louie Sangalang who joined the Asian edition of The Apprentice: ONE Championship where Mr. Sangalang finished as one of the runners-up having to pit himself against challenging intrapreneurial ordeals and matches against participants who are also excellent Mixed Martial Arts experts. He also joined the grueling North Pole Marathon and shared how running 42k in thin air and on thick ice can break one's sense of competitiveness. Interesting sessions.
