Various media outfits like ABS CBN, DZRH, Net25 TV, etc. interviewed PAGASA Pres. Steven T. Cua especially after he "politely declined" Malacañang's request for him to endorse the Palace's move to place a price ceiling for regular- and well-milled rice and sell the same below cost.

STC was invited as one of the ribbon-cutters at the Opening Ceremonies of Asiafood Expo at tge World Trade Center in the morning of 6 September 2023. There he met and rekindled old ties with (L) Francis Sevilla & Noel Paguia (R), President & Chairman respectively of the Food Caterers Assn. of the Phils. (FCAP). Seated comfortably, one will find bemoustached  Steve Tamayo, founder of FCAP.

STC attended the Supply Chain Leaders Lunch by SCMAP (Supply Chain Mgt. Assn. of the Phils.) on 5 September 2023 at  EDSA Shangrila. The group focuses on efficiency in logistics and distribution of all types of goods. This is the third meeting of its type held since early 2022. While at this Meet, STC was informed via Viber that DTI Asec. Jean Pacheco will takeover as OIC for the Consumer Protection Group (CPG) formerly handled by Usec. Atty. Ruth Castelo (eff. 9/1/23). Coincidentally, Asec. Jean was also at this Lunch Meeting.

In the early morning of 5 September 2023, PAGASA President Steven T. Cua was interviewed live over TV5 by veteran newscaster Ted Faylon and DJ Chacha over the contoversial Executive Order (EO) No. 39 which takes effect on the very day of said interview. President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. issued the EO just three days earlier pegging the price of regular-milled rice at a ceiling of P41.00 per kilo and well-milled rice at P45.00 per kilo nationwide. Current prices for these commodities range from P48.00 to P56.00.

In the morning of 4 September 2023, the Conference Organizing Committee did an online review of the just-concluded 2023 National Retail Conference and Exhibition (NRCE). It was a record attendance of 674 participants to the Conference and 1,478 visitors to the Exhibition Area; a 15% increase in the number of Conference attendees from last year. Congratulations to Team Prince. Rina's joint talk with their software provider came out on the survey as one of the most appreciated talks.

In the afternoon of 30 August 2023, PAGASA's Steven T. Cua was interviewed by the Philippine Competition Commission's Margarita T. Sison and her team regarding the retail landscape in relation to the acquisition of Rose Pharmacy by Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc.

On 25 August 2023, PAGASA President Steven T. Cua was featured as a guest on the weekly program "The Exchange" with veteran broadcast host Rico Hizon. Topic was the upcoming Christmas festivities spiked with economic uncertainty and uncontrolled inflation.

PAGASA Pres. Steven T. Cua guested in the morning of 17 August 2023 at DWIZ's Broadcasters' Forum Online regarding price of rice & BNPCs given the recent increase in daily wage/salaries. Hosted by (top, clockwise) Rolly "Lakay" Gonzalo & participated by Mr. JUROR KitKilatis Lagare, (guest) Lucito "Chito" Chavez/Pres.- Asosasyon ng Panaderong Pilipino (APP) & Jake Ortiz. Lively discussion ensued criticizing the lack of performance of the current administration.

 Because DTI mentioned on 8 August 2023 that manufacturers of some 43 products are requesting permission to increase the prices of said goods, media saw it has the go-ahead to scrounge for news of speculative price increases just a day later. From Ted Failon's program early morning to DWIZ, ABS CBN & Teleradyo Serbisyo's program called Pasada with Peter Musngi & Rica Lazo, media went searching for a lead regarding price increases by interviewing PAGASA Pres. Steven T. Cua. The recent passing into law of the increase of the minimum daily wage by P40/day effective 16 July 2023 initiated a tsunami of speculation about potential price increases for basic necessities and prime commodities.

On the rainy eve of 2 August 2023, PAGASA was truly lucky to have loyal members who braved the rains & high water to arrive at Japan Fudo Street 4/F at Ayala by the Bay. Discussed was state of the economy a year into the new administration and after COVID-19's gradual wearing off.
