CHINESE MANUFACTURER WANTS TO PENETRATE PHIL. MARKET |

A sudden invite on the evening of 29 September 2022
by the CEO of Makuku> Mr. Bright Hang (guy beside STC with his
thumbs up) to Oriental Garden Chi. Resto along Tomas Morato. Makuku
is a manufacturer of diapers using 3rd generation technology (thinner
fabric/more absorbent). Mr. Hang wanted to introduce his team from China
so at their last-minute request, a few PAGASA members were hable to
attend their dinner. (Clockwise)

PAGASA was invited on 14 Sept. 2022 to the Supply Chain Mgt. Assn. of the Phils.' (SCMAP) Leaders' Lunch at the Kamia Room of EDSA Shangrila. Attendees were formed into 3 Clusters for this Formal Discussion: Gov't & Academe/Manufacturers & Retailer/Enablers & Supply Chain Service Providers. Supply Chain pertains to everything that happens after production & before products reach retailers' receiving bays. One of the photos show Doris Magsaysay-Ho/CEO of the Magsaysay Group giving her two cents' worth regarding improvements that can be made regarding shipping. |

PAGASA was invited by the organizer of Food & Hotel Asia 2022 which was held at the Singapore Expo right beside Changi Airport. Delegation was required to meet Exhibitors who were eyeing the Philippine market. Trend among exhibitors was plant-based food and sustainable production/packaging. Forums were held on different topics. Exhibitors and visitors alike hailed from countries far and wide. |

Dean & Deluca QC on 1 September 2022. It
is a British company with a newly patented technology on biodegradable
plastics as researched by Imperial College of London. They are selling
their technology to plastic & food manufacturers. |

practice of monitoring prices whole year-round via SRPs (at least til
end of this year to see if it is really needed to police abusive
retailers). |
